Getting started
Make your first video, end to end
Once your channel has a finished style, a project moves through five in-app steps — Script, Characters & Assets, Voiceover, Storyboard, Editor — and each step unlocks when the previous one's output is complete. This page walks the happy path and names exactly what unlocks each step.
1 — Script
Unlocks when: the project has a style.
Generate a script from your project brief, or paste your own. Read it, edit it, and revise until the words are right — everything downstream (assets, voiceover, storyboard) is built from this script.
2 — Characters & Assets
Unlocks when: the project has a script.
Run the script scan to extract your cast and world — characters, environments, and objects — then review the list and generate or upload a reference image for each one. Those references are what keep everything consistent across scenes. This step is also where the optional visual-concept note lives.
3 — Voiceover
Unlocks when: the scan is done and every character, environment, and object has a reference image.
Bind voices first: the narrator voice is set on the project, and each speaking character gets a voice on its asset. A speaker without a voice blocks generation with an error that names the character, so there is no silent failure. Then generate the voice blocks and listen through — regenerate any block you do not like.
4 — Storyboard
Unlocks when: every voice block has audio.
The storyboard is planned against the finished narration, so segments carry real timing. Review the plan, adjust segments, and render them.
5 — Editor
Unlocks when: the storyboard has at least one segment.
Segment renders do not block editing: you can open the editor, build scenes, and even export while renders are still in flight. Late renders slot in as they finish.
Iterate anywhere
None of these steps is one-shot. Every station has per-item regeneration — per voice block, per reference image, per segment — and editing an earlier station then re-running what depends on it is the normal way to work. The step order only governs what must exist before the next station can run; it never stops you from going back.
