Editing & export
Music & sound effects
Framesail has one shared audio library with music and sound-effect categories — browse it with search and mood/genre filters, use the global tracks, or upload your own. Music is user-selected, never auto-picked: you decide which beds play, where they start, and how loud they sit.
The audio library
- ·Global tracks in music and sfx categories, filterable by search, mood, and genre.
- ·Your own uploads live alongside them as private tracks — mp3, wav, m4a, or ogg, size-limited.
Music on a project
Add tracks to the project from the library in the editor's music panel, then set each track's volume (slider from 0 to 2), loop, start point, and trim; reorder or delete tracks at any time. Trim and loop are music-only controls — the voiceover track is sequenced automatically and never needs manual placement.
Sound effects
SFX attach per segment: the storyboard plans them according to the project's SFX level (none, minimal, or frequent), and you can add or remove them on any segment — from the storyboard's Add SFX action or in the editor as audio layers.
Loudness policy
Levels are handled for you: narration clips are normalized to −16 LUFS at generation, and the final export is gain-normalized to −14 LUFS integrated with a −1.5 dBTP true-peak ceiling — pure gain, so the mix balance you set is preserved, and the video stream is untouched.
